Belle

Belle is as sweet and loving as they come. She spent most of her life working as a plow horse on a small Amish farm where she helped guide her blind best friend and driving partner, Beaux, navigate every step. Belle shakes the ground when she thunders down the hill to the feed stations for her breakfast! She loves belly scratches and treats and will politely ask our volunteers and staff for both during interactions with them. She would love to spend her days eating snacks and getting her big ol’ belly scratched (wouldn’t we all?!). Belle does have evidence of a previous eye ulcer, so to protect her vision, she wears a special UV fly mask during the day.
