TLAR - Technical Large Animal Rescue
Gentle Giants has launched a fully mobile technical large animal emergency response team that can help in a variety of situations. From trailer accidents, barn fires, horses trapped in mud, to those who might be in a building collapse, anything that a large animal can get himself into trouble with.
Our rescue team is able to respond within a 2 hour radius from the farm in Mt. Airy, MD and is available 24 hours a day. We do require a veterinarian be on site and suggest a minimum donation of $500.

Gentle Giants responded to pleas for help to save Hershey, a 30 year old horse trapped in the mud. Our rescue team mobilized and successfully rescued Hershey, who made a full recovery.
