Patience

We take naming horses very seriously, but we almost thought we got it wrong when this gal jumped out of the trailer, leaving her handler behind as she floated across her new pasture, lead rope dragging behind her! After the life she’d lived, we don’t blame her one bit for wanting to get to safety and comfort as soon as possible.

She’s since settled into her new routine and is every bit as patient as her name entails. She has a sweet habit of showing her appreciation for scratches by gently curling her head around your body and squeezing you into a big draft horse hug. There’s nothing like it! Patience is looking for a forever home with a relaxing environment that will enjoy her company and give her lots (and lots!) of scratches.
