Piper

Rescued from the auction as a sickly 6 month old foal suffering from septic physitis, pneumonia, and an infestation of lice....Piper had a grim future.

She was stunted, small, awkward, and so sick. She burned with fever. Physitis had deformed her joints. Our vet advised we should give her a chance...but warned us to not get attached.

Piper defied it all, and now stands a proud 18.2 hands! She compensates for her joint damage and most people rarely even notice. She will never be rideable, but Piper is gorgeous, sassy, spunky, and a herd leader!
