Sophia

Sophia is an adorable Haflinger mare who arrived from auction. She was still wearing shoes that her feet had long outgrown and every step she took looked as if she was walking on sharp stones. Thankfully, the shoes came off and her feet have had time to regrow and become much stronger. She has been on a corrective trimming schedule over the last several months. She has likely foundered or suffered from laminitis sometime in her past and does require a dry lot. She’ll never be sound for riding but she is such a lovely companion, anyone would be extremely lucky to have this gorgeous gal in their pasture!
